A little extra attitude. Our Bex sole sits between our classic air-cushioned outsole and a full-volume platform – bringing an elevated edge you can wear every day. Here the rugged sole underpins our Original shoe silhouette, built from tough Smooth leather and marked with our signature yellow welt stitching.

Material
Durable and famously stiff to start, our Smooth Leather can be polished to a dapper shine or artfully scuffed-up depending on your preference.
Care Instructions
Wipe away dirt using a damp cloth. Apply Dr. Martens Wonder Balsam to the outside of your footwear to keep the leather supple, strong and smooth. Once dry, buff vigorously to desired shine using a clean Dr. Martens Shoe Brush. Repeat regularly to prolong the life of your footwear.

I had two pairs of Dr Martens Mary Jane’s for the summer and loved them -so comfortable I wire them all summer ( once I’d worn them in a bit!). So I wanted something similar but a little more sturdy to cover my whole foot for Autumn/Winter. I love the colour and although a little stiff at first, I find them very comfortable for all day wear as a teacher.I get lots of compliments which is nice but more importantly they are just what I wanted and needed. Great with both long and cropped trousers and jeans and look just as good with long skirts and dresses. I’m sure they’ll last for years!

Bought these as needed a pair of shoes that would go with everything and these fit the bill. Had tobbreak in at home and have plasters ready when I’m out and about but really happy with them so far. Ordered a 5 and still have room for thick socks as well so maybe fit ever so slightly on the larger side.
